Resilience takes Resilient Patience

Practice in Resilience takes practice in being Resiliently patient.
Like a rubber band, our resilience is in our ability to learn our limits and find our way into a sense of balance.  If there is too much tension for too long we edge toward breaking, snapping, reacting.  And if we resist the urge to put enough healthy pressure on ourself to go even a step out of our comfort zone, we might miss the opportunity to grow.
A rubber band does a job of holding things together.
Noticing our tendencies and looking within, can shine a light on where we may be extending our limits of holding on.  And if so, what can you let go?
Or there might space for adding something new, space to step towards an unknown.  Are we allowing the fear of what if to out weight the action of why not?
And if there is just enough tension, like a good hug, is it possible to simply feel the support that is already around you and holding just right, just tight enough.
Being of patience with ourself long enough to feel our resilience long enough can be a reminder that being whole also means we have wiggle room to grow.
